Youth Service Fund

The North Texas Conference Council on Youth Ministries and the members of the Youth Annual Conference (YAC) are interested in supporting Christian ministries through Youth Service Fund. Each year members of the YAC select an In-Conference Project and an Out-of-Conference Project.  Consideration will be given to those organizations/agencies that assist in meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of youth or that empower youth to be in ministry with others. If you wish to recommend an organization/agency to be considered for support, please fill out the form below.  Return this application by TBD for  2014 to youth@ntcumc.org or by mail Youth Service Fund, ATTN: Kelly Carpenter, P. O. Box 866128, Plano, TX  75086-6128.

2014YSF Recommendation Form

2012 -2013 Recipients:

In-Conference: Project Transformation

Out-of-Conference: ZOE Ministry

2011-2012 Recipients:

In-Conference: C2K

Out-of-Conference: ZOE Ministry

If every United Methodist teenager would give 50¢ to YSF every 3 months, we would raise $1,500,000 from that source alone!!!

If committed United Methodist youth gave that much money to YSF every week, we could say “Yes!” to six times more life-saving, life-changing projects.

Giving one’s own money changes the lives of the youth who give as well as the youth who receive. By “sharing the dream” of YSF, teens get caught up in the growing excitement of youth ministering to youth in the name and spirit of Jesus Christ.

Where Your Money Goes
Contributions should be made payable to Youth Service Fund and sent to your annual conference treasurer.  70% will stay in your annual conference for distribution, while 30% will be forwarded to the United Methodist Youth Organization.
