“9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. ” -Romans 12:9-10

Through experience, worship, small groups, Compassion Projects, legislation, elections, study and fellowship we learn more about living out the gospel of Jesus Christ in the world. We will have special presentations from Jonathan Perry (Associate Pastor FUMC Lewisville); Chris Schoolcraft (Senior Pastor Prosper UMC); Daniel Canafax and Project Transformation; Jamie Nelson (Director of C2K) and many more. To top off the whole experience, Bishop Mike McKee will preach our closing worship on Sunday morning!

Leadership Training.  We lean more through the experience of elections and legislation how to lead our congregations as the Christian leaders of today.

We will have Legislative sessions.  Issues may be presented, debated and voted upon according to the operating procedures of the Youth Annual Conference (YAC). If you would like to propose legislation for Youth Annual Conference it must be submitted via email by March 27 to youth@ntcumc.org  YAC Legislative Worksheet

We will hold Elections.  Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) will have several at-large representatives that are elected from among the body of the YAC. Candidates must be in the 7th grade but not yet in the 12th grade. The term of office for these representatives shall be until they graduate. In order to be considered your YouthRepApplication must be submitted by March 27 to youth@ntcumc.org. Include a Recent Photo with your Application.

We will choose Youth Service Fund (YSF) Recipients.  The selection of Youth Service Fund (YSF) projects for the succeeding year is determined by an open nomination and election process of the YAC delegations. Nominations for recipient organizations must be submitted by March 27th to youth@ntcumc.org YSF Recommendation Form

Everyone in your group that is 18 or older by April 7, 2013 must pass a background check and MinistrySafe Training. They MUST complete the background check and MinistrySafe Training in order to attend camp.

Please bring a Youth Medical Form or Adult Medical Form for each person registered. You may use these forms or the forms your church has on file. Bring two copies to camp – one copy to keep with your Youth Director and one copy for the camp nurse.
